As a part of Union Government’s Initiative for strengthening connectivity for religious tourism, SIPS has contributed in this endeavour by successfully commissioning the following works :-
i) Electrification and Commissioning of 23.40 TKM doubling track from Maa Belha Devi Dham to Gaura Yard on the Pratapgarh – Thangai section on 26 Mar 25. This shall save more than one hour of travel time.
ii) Commissioning of the 2nd phase of Harpalpur Mahoba minor bridges section on 31 Mar 25, thereby connecting places of religious significance where Shri Ram and Mata Sita spent their exile. This section is part of Jhansi – Manikpur Railway line doubling project connecting places like Orchha, Mahoba and Chitrakoot.
